Description
Dola Doraniki (about 1,751 m) is a summit on the highest ridge of Alor island, Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, lying only about 500 metres southeast of Dola Koyakoya, the island's high point (about 1,821 m). Because it sits on the same massif, it is usually climbed together with Koyakoya and Dola Potomana on a single outing via the route from Tanglapui Timur village in eastern Alor. The terrain is the grassland and eucalyptus forest typical of Alor's heights, with open views over the Savu Sea and, in clear weather, toward mainland Timor-Leste. Detailed information is very limited and comes mostly from hiking databases; recorded heights vary between sources (roughly 1,704–1,751 m).
