Description
Cima Tosa (3,136 m) is the highest peak of the Brenta Dolomites in Trentino, Italy, part of the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park and the UNESCO Dolomites World Heritage area. A massive rock wall standing among Brenta's signature towers such as Crozzon di Brenta and Campanile Basso, Cima Tosa is no ordinary walk-up: its normal route (the Via Migotti from the Rifugio Pedrotti/Tosa side) demands an exposed scramble with fixed protection in places and a crossing of lingering firn, placing it firmly in alpine-mountaineering territory for the experienced. Harder lines such as the Canalone Neri—a steep ice couloir—are classics for climbers and ski-mountaineers. Ascents are usually based in the Brenta hut network; from the summit unfolds a panorama of the entire serrated Brenta chain and, in the distance, the snow-capped Adamello-Presanella massif.

Routes
Via Normale (Via Migotti) dari Rifugio Pedrotti/Tosa
Alpine PD/F+ (scramble terekspos dengan bagian berpengaman, sisa firn)The normal route to the summit, usually based at Rifugio Pedrotti/Tosa. The Migotti line crosses Dolomite rock terrain with exposed, fixed-protected sections and lingering firn, placing it in alpine-mountaineering territory for the experienced rather than ordinary trekking.
SourceClimbing Experiences
Accounts of climbing Cima Tosa make clear this is not ordinary trekking but alpine mountaineering: the normal Via Migotti route demands an exposed scramble with protected sections and a crossing of lingering firn, while the Canalone Neri is a more serious ice/ski classic. The videos below combine the normal-route perspective to the highest peak of the Brenta with the Canalone Neri ice couloir.
