Description
Buntu Parembonan is a hill summit of roughly 503 m in Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Its name carries the element 'Buntu', a word that in the highland languages of South Sulawesi (the Toraja–Luwu group) commonly means 'mountain' or 'hill'. The point is recorded in international geographic gazetteers (the NGA GNS name base, later ingested into GeoNames and OpenStreetMap) as a mountain feature at about 2°52′ S, 120°06′ E. Beyond this gazetteer record there is very little published information about the peak: no verified official trail, tourism description, or trip report could be found. This profile is therefore deliberately limited to sourced location and elevation data, without inventing terrain or route details.
