Description

Buntu Kawalean is a summit on the Rongkong highlands, near the hamlet of Kawalean in Desa Rinding Allo, Rongkong District, North Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. Geographic-name databases (used by OpenStreetMap and Wikidata Q25298296) record it as a hill/peak of about 2,423 m a.s.l. — roughly 177 m above the surrounding terrain — with a higher neighbouring peak, Buntu Berada (about 2,580 m), some 4 km to the east.
