Description
Buntu Denkon is a mountain in Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi province, Indonesia, with its summit near 3.40°S, 120.17°E, in the highland belt bordering Tana Toraja. Its elevation is estimated at about 923 m above sea level according to the GeoNames gazetteer; the Open-Meteo elevation model gives about 849 m for that point. The word 'buntu' means mountain or peak in the Toraja (Toraja-Sa'dan) language, spoken across the Toraja highlands and surrounding areas including the northern part of Luwu Regency.
