Description
Bulu Masakoni is a named hill in Pinrang Regency (near Pannanrang village), South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, at roughly 3.88°S 119.67°E — in the central part of the country, about 1,400 km east of Jakarta. In the Bugis-Makassar language, the word 'bulu' means mountain/hill, so the name means roughly 'Masakoni Hill'. According to GeoNames toponymy data summarised on Cebuano Wikipedia, it stands only about 22 metres above sea level; the surrounding terrain is flat to the north-west but hilly to the south-east, the nearest higher point being Bulu Garongkongne (215 m) about 2.8 km to the east, and the area around it is fairly densely populated (~397 people/km²). It is recorded as a mountain in Wikidata (Q26730192) with descriptions in 16 languages and an auto-generated stub on Cebuano Wikipedia, and is listed in OpenStreetMap from NGA-GNS/GeoNames data. Beyond these basic geographic facts there is no verifiable route or trip report; this summary is deliberately limited to confirmed facts and honestly states the data gap.
