Description
Bulu Malindaue is a named mountain/hill in East Luwu Regency (Luwu Timur), South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, at roughly 2.62°S 121.32°E — in the central part of the country, about 1,700 km east of Jakarta. In the regional languages of Sulawesi (the Bugis-Makassar group), the word 'bulu' means mountain, so the name means roughly 'Mount Malindaue'. According to GeoNames toponymy data summarised on Cebuano Wikipedia, its summit stands at about 930 metres above sea level, or roughly 303 metres above the surrounding terrain, with a base about 3 km wide; the surrounding landscape is generally hilly and the feature is elongated on a north–south axis. It is recorded as a mountain in Wikidata (Q25273604) with descriptions in 16 languages and an auto-generated stub on Cebuano Wikipedia, and is listed in OpenStreetMap from NGA-GNS/GeoNames data. Beyond these basic geographic facts, substantive information is essentially absent: there is no official climbing route or verifiable trip report. This summary is therefore limited to confirmed facts and honestly states the data gap rather than adding unsourced detail.
