Description
Bulu Labusa is a named hill/mountain in Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, at roughly 3.78°S 120.20°E. In South Sulawesi's regional languages the word 'bulu' means mountain, so the name means approximately 'Mount Labusa'. According to GeoNames data summarised in an auto-generated Cebuano Wikipedia stub, its summit stands about 315 metres above sea level and rises around 135 metres above the surrounding terrain, with a wide base (about 8.5 km) — the profile of a rounded hill standing fairly prominently above the lowlands. The surrounding land is flat to the south and hilly to the north and, unlike many other forested Sulawesi hills, its immediate surroundings are dominated by farmland/cropland; the highest point in the wider area is Botto Salo Durian (1,180 m) about 17.8 km to the north-west. The climate is tropical with an average temperature of around 24 °C. The feature is recorded as a mountain in Wikidata (Q26729095) and in OpenStreetMap from NGA-GNS/GeoNames toponymy data. Beyond these basic geographic facts, there are no verifiable route records or trip reports, so this summary is limited to confirmed data and honestly states its limitations.
