Description

Bulu Kayutanning is a named hill/mountain around Camba District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, at roughly 4.87°S 119.80°E. The word 'bulu' in South Sulawesi's regional languages means mountain, so the name is approximately 'Mount Kayutanning'. Based on GeoNames data summarised in an auto-generated Cebuano Wikipedia stub, its summit reaches about 804 metres above sea level but rises only around 16 metres above the surrounding terrain with a narrow base (about 0.3 km) — indicating a bump on higher ridge ground rather than a free-standing peak. The surrounding landscape is predominantly hilly, giving way to mountainous country to the north; the highest point in the area is Bulu Tonggongkarambu (1,690 m) about 12 km to the north. The wider area is almost entirely forested with a tropical climate. The feature is recorded as a mountain in Wikidata (Q25209486, labelled in more than ten languages) and in OpenStreetMap from NGA-GNS/GeoNames toponymy data. Beyond these basic geographic facts, there are no verifiable route records or trip reports, so this summary is limited to confirmed data.
