Description

Bulu Baleanging is a hill/mountain in Barru Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, at roughly 4.767°S, 119.739°E. The word "bulu" in its name means mountain or hill in the Bugis-Makassar languages, a common marker for upland features in South Sulawesi. The feature is recorded in the NGA/GNS (GEOnet Names Server) geographic-names database as a 'mountain' and entered OpenStreetMap from there; the record carries no elevation figure. Barru Regency is a coastal regency on the southwestern arm of Sulawesi with its seat in Barru District, an area combining coastal plains with hills to its east. Publicly available information specific to this hill — climbing routes, exact elevation, or local lore — is very limited and not documented online; this entry is confined to verifiable location and administrative data, without adding unsourced claims.
