Description
Bukit Tanakeke is a small hill recorded in OpenStreetMap (natural=peak, NGA-GNS designation "HLL" = hill) at -5.9396, 120.5403. Despite the shared name, it is not on the mangrove-famous Tanakeke Island near Takalar; it lies on the northern part of Selayar Island, in Bontomatene subdistrict, Kepulauan Selayar Regency, South Sulawesi, near coastal villages such as Bontona Saluk and Batangmata Sapo. The record comes from the NGA-GNS names database (last updated 2008) and carries no official elevation; an SRTM elevation-model sample gives roughly 206 m as an approximation. No Wikipedia/Wikidata article, climbing account, or feature-specific photo exists, so documentation is very thin.
