Description
Bukit Batukuda is a low forested hill in West Sumatra Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. According to the DEM-based geographic database summarised on Cebuano Wikipedia, its highest point is only about 135 metres above sea level, rising roughly 13 metres above the surrounding terrain, at coordinates near 0°10′ North and 100°47′ East with a base width of about 0.76 kilometres. The surrounding land cover is almost entirely forest, with a low population density (about 3 people per square kilometre). The climate is tropical-wet, with an average temperature of around 23°C and annual rainfall of about 3,571 millimetres — wettest in November and driest in June. The nearest higher rise is recorded about 2.6 kilometres to the south-east. Bukit Batukuda is a small geographic feature with virtually no climbing documentation; available information is limited to geographic data from mapping databases and encyclopaedias.
