Description

Bentihu Dolosang is a hill on Sangihe Besar Island in Kepulauan Sangihe Regency, North Sulawesi Province — an island chain in the Celebes Sea between mainland Sulawesi and Mindanao (Philippines). The word "bentihu" is the local Sangir term for a hill or peak, and the region holds dozens of similarly named summits. Geographic databases place its coordinates (3.346°N, 125.611°E) on ground that slopes toward the sea to the south and rises into hills to the north. Its elevation is estimated at roughly 157 m a.s.l., but this figure comes from a digital elevation model rather than a field survey and should be read as an approximation. Public information is extremely limited: no hiking reports, marked trails, or visitor accounts have been found. All available data derive from international geographic catalogues (the NGA-GNS gazetteer and its derivatives in OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, and GeoNames), not from field documentation.
