Description
Barn Bluff is a 1,559 m dolerite peak in Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park. Wikidata confirms its mountain identity, elevation and coordinates. PWS describes a 7 km return side trip from the Overland Track junction, taking about 3–4 hours with steep boulders near the summit. These figures exclude the approach from Ronny Creek. Hiker accounts document both full-day approaches and overnight trips. The summit should only be attempted in fine weather; PWS advises against it when snow-covered.
