Description
An Teallach (highest top Bidein a' Ghlas Thuill, 1,062 m) is often called one of the most impressive mountains in Britain. Rising near Dundonnell in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland, it is built of red Torridonian sandstone capped with pale quartzite, forming a jagged cirque around Coire Toll an Lochain. Its two Munros—Bidein a' Ghlas Thuill (1,062 m) and Sgùrr Fiona (1,060 m)—can be reached by a relatively easy there-and-back route. The mountain's real draw, however, is the full ridge traverse: an exposed grade 1+ scramble over Lord Berkeley's Seat and the Corrag Bhuidhe pinnacles, with views many walkers rate as unmatched among Scottish peaks. The full traverse is about 20 km with roughly 1,415 m of ascent and takes 9–10 hours; the final descent off Corrag Bhuidhe is a graded rock climb best avoided via the bypass path.

Routes
Dua Munro pulang-pergi (Bidein a' Ghlas Thuill & Sgùrr Fiona)
Sedang–berat (hillwalk curam, menghindari pinakel)A safer way to enjoy An Teallach without the most exposed scrambling: climb both Munro summits—Bidein a' Ghlas Thuill (1,062 m) and Sgùrr Fiona (1,060 m)—by a there-and-back route, descending without crossing the Corrag Bhuidhe pinnacles. Still a long, steep hillwalk where navigation matters in mist.

Berat — scramble grade 1+ yang tereksposisiThe classic and most coveted traverse: from Corrie Hallie/Dundonnell it climbs the two Munros, then follows the jagged ridge over Lord Berkeley's Seat and the Corrag Bhuidhe pinnacles. The pinnacle section is exposed scrambling; the direct descent off Corrag Bhuidhe is even a graded rock climb that has caused fatalities, so many walkers take the west-flank bypass path. A big day with views many rate as unmatched among British mountains.
SourceClimbing Experiences
Trip reports confirm An Teallach's reputation as one of Britain's finest—and most demanding—ridge traverses. The videos below capture the full traverse over the exposed Corrag Bhuidhe pinnacles and Lord Berkeley's Seat, the safer bypass-path option, and wild-camp approaches from Shenavall. All stress the fast-changing weather, genuine exposure, and need for scrambling experience.
