MSR PocketRocket Deluxe

Summary

The MSR PocketRocket Deluxe earns a positive consensus for backpacking thanks to compact packing, attached pot supports, and fine flame control for cooking. OutdoorGearLab and Treeline praise its simmering; TrailGroove found fast boiling in calm conditions but substantially worse performance in wind or with a nearly empty canister in cold weather. Igniter experiences differ: Treeline found it reliable, while OutdoorGearLab and TrailGroove reported needing several clicks. It suits hikers who value convenient cooking and accept a higher price, with performance limitations at exposed, windy camps.

MSR Pocket Rocket Deluxe Stove Review
